About me
I am a Pluralistic Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, rooted in person-centered therapy. I bring in approaches from other therapeutic disciplines such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Psychodynamic if and when this feels right. Everyone is different and I believe in bringing the right approach for the person in front of me, which is the essence of a pluralistic person-centered approach.
I offer in-person sessions, in both Newbury & Thatcham, as welll as offering online sessions for anyone further afield or unbel to attend in-person. I will create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your emotions and thoughts, and work on the things that you feel are causing you pain, difficulty, or upset in your life.
Sometimes we just need a space where we can let it all out, that feels private, and safe, but also most importantly a space where we have felt heard. This can sometimes be hard to find in life, even with the best intentions of friends and family. Therapy can be that space for you.
I offer an initial 15-minute telephone consultation with no obligation. If you decide I am the right person for you then we will go on to book our first session.
Training, qualifications & experience
- Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (PROF. DIP PSY C.)
- I have specialised in bereavement as part of my training.
- I have experience with young adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
