About me

Welcome to my practice, and thank you for considering this step in your journey.

I am a trauma-informed and polyvagal-informed Person-Centred counsellor and psychotherapist, integrating the latest neuroscience and research into my practice. My focus is on helping you reconnect with your sense of safety and inner experience.

In our work together, I strive to create a collaborative, non-judgmental environment where we can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. I support the natural emergence of personal growth, without pressure or expectation. This process is about deepening your understanding of yourself and your journey, allowing space for healing and meaningful change as you rediscover your path forward.

My Approach

I bring an understanding of how trauma and distress affect both mind and body, drawing on the latest insights from trauma theory and neuroscience, including Polyvagal Theory. While some find medical diagnoses helpful in making sense of their experiences, others may find these labels limiting. I acknowledge both perspectives, striving to understand the full complexity of your life, using frameworks like the Power Threat Meaning Framework (2018) to explore how personal, relational, and societal factors shape your experience.

My approach is collaborative and empowering. Together, we will co-create a therapy process that feels right for you—at your pace and focused on your unique needs. Whether you’re working through past trauma, navigating life changes, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I provide a space of safety, empathy, and non-judgment where you can explore your challenges.

Reconnecting with yourself, navigating how you move through the world, and building healthier relationships with others can take time. But we will figure out that journey together. I’m here to support you as you work towards healing, growth, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

A Safe and Inclusive Space

I welcome individuals and couples from all walks of life, creating a respectful, inclusive environment where you feel heard, understood, and accepted.

Moving Forward

Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, relational struggles, trauma, dissociation and/or psychosis, or other mental health concerns, my role is to help you feel more connected, resilient, and at ease with yourself. Therapy can lead to profound shifts, helping you build a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with who you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
