About me

Compassion, empathy and authenticity are at the heart of my practice. As a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice and a Level 3 Diploma in Hypnotherapy, therapeutic support is offered face-to-face, online and by telephone. Supporting individuals through grief, anxiety, trauma and abuse has reinforced a strong belief in every person's capacity for healing and resilience. A warm, accepting and non-judgemental space is offered where clients can explore their experiences, gain new insights and move forward with confidence. My work is guided by a commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and supporting individuals to move towards creating positive and lasting change in their lives.

My 36 years’ experience in education has given me a deep understanding of child development, relationships and the impact that experiences can have on emotional wellbeing. Through working closely with children, families and professionals, I have developed strong skills in recognising the barriers that can stall development and supporting individuals to overcome challenges. This experience provides a valuable foundation for my work as a psychotherapist, enabling me to understand each person's unique context and support meaningful change.
