About me
Hello, my name is Pablo, and I am a clinical psychologist specialising in online therapy. I offer private psychotherapy and support through medical insurers for a wide range of mental health difficulties.
We tend to suffer from anxiety, stress, and depression for too long before reaching for help, which can lead to unnecessary suffering. It takes courage to start therapy, and it takes courage to confront our problems. What I offer you is a calm and supportive environment in which you will be able to deal with any difficulties you are experiencing, with the professionalism that you deserve.
I am working exclusively online at present: I conduct initial assessments and therapy sessions via video call.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an HCPC-registered and BPS-chartered clinical psychologist. I completed my MSc and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the Universities of Leiden, in the Netherlands, and Roehampton, in London. I am a Clinical Partner at Inner Compass Psychology, in London, and I also lecture at the University of Liverpool and at the Open University of Catalonia (remotely).
I have over a decade of clinical experience helping people manage and overcome a wide range of psychological difficulties in a time-limited manner. I am particularly experienced in treating anxiety- and stress-related issues, including generalised anxiety, panic, persistent worry, grief, and psychological trauma.
I have an integrative approach to my work, tailoring psychotherapy to the person's situation and preferences. I draw primarily on contextual-behavioural and existential-humanistic approaches, with a focus on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a mindfulness-based form of CBT, Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
My qualifications:
- PhD in Clinical Psychology
- MSc in Clinical Psychology
- PGdip in Third-Wave CBT
- BSc Hons in Psychology

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
