About me

Choosing a therapist can be daunting experience. My work can help you develop a better understanding of yourself, this can in turn help improve your relationship with self and others.

I have over 20 years experience of working across neurological, chronic pain and mental health services within the NHS. I am fully trained as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and can offer a wide range of evidence based therapies. I don’t find one model fits all and if I worked with you I would like to understand your individual needs, interests and goals for therapy and then tailor my approach accordingly. I tend to use an integrative approach, drawing upon various models to help clients get the best experience from therapy.

If you are considering therapy or are interested in understanding yourself better  which might include wanting to make sense of repeated patterns, areas of your life where you feel stuck,  or you might want help to improve your mood such and anxiety and depression, you may strive to have have better or healthier relationships, be more assertive or confident, improve symptoms, or have other specifics goals to work towards, then I could be able to help.

The therapeutic relationship is very important in facilitating a meaningful therapy, this can take some time to build but if you would like to have an initial consultation to meet and see if we could work well together then I am very happy to offer you an initial 15-20mins free consultation.
