About me
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist I offer a space dedicated to your personal exploration of self. By allowing yourself to be voiced and heard, we will make room for change, and for your true self to emerge.
You might feel stuck, that nothing truly changes. Time continues to tick unrelentingly, your background shifts and changes, but you remain the same. You find yourself repeating the same dynamics with colleagues, friends and loved ones, benefiting less, ever more isolated in who you don't want to be. Life repeats itself without you, and though you suspect things could be different, you do not become who you know you can be. You might experience anxieties that overwhelm and dominate your being. You might suffer from recurring depressions that sedate your will for life and drain any potential for joy. Together we can bring about that change you seek.
I offer a safe space for you to discover your personal language of self. A space in which you, all of who you are, will be welcomed. Therapy is about being able to talk and open up. It is about having someone who listens to the many facets that make you who you are - without expectations, judgment, or directives. We will make space for your thoughts to be voiced, for your memories to emerge, for your emotions to be expressed. By doing so, we will gain an understanding of who you are, of the patterns that have come to define your struggles. We will come to understand how these patterns were forged, what and who they came meant to protect, and how you can shed them off to allow you to re/gain a sense of agency, self, and love.
Together we will discover the path for your healing and allow change to take place.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, an internationally renowned psychoanalytic centre for the development and practice of psychotherapy. I completed a PGdip, MA in psychodynamic psychotherapy and advanced clinical training in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
In addition to private practice, I am a psychodynamic psychotehrapist at St. Ann's Hospital in Haringey, working in the community mental health team psychosis pathway. I work with the full gamit of personal challenges and diagnoses. Depression, mood disorders and anxieties; the neurodivergent spectrum from ADHD to ASD; thought disturbances and psychosis, as well PTSD, severe cases of bipolar, and personality disorders.
I am a full member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
