About me
Have you ever wondered why certain emotions, thoughts, or patterns keep resurfacing in your life? Perhaps you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in cycles of anxiety, low mood and depression, or self-doubt. Maybe you struggle with relationships, experience persistent feelings of emptiness, or find it difficult to express your emotions. Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers a space to explore these deeper layers, helping you understand yourself in a way that leads to lasting change. Rooted in the psychoanalytic tradition, this approach not only relieves distressing symptoms like anxiety and depression but also helps you develop a richer, more fulfilling experience of life.
In our sessions, you will have a space to speak freely—without judgment or censorship. Together, we will explore the complexities of your mind, uncover long-standing patterns, and create the conditions for personal growth. By deepening your emotional awareness, you can gain clarity on your desires, navigate relationships with greater confidence, and move toward self-acceptance.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with extensive experience in the NHS and charity sector. Over the years, I have worked with individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, eating disorders, and the lasting effects of past trauma. Whether you are struggling with something specific or simply feel lost, therapy can offer a way forward.
I offer in-person, one-on-one therapy from my consulting room in central London, just off Chancery Lane tube station. This is a safe, confidential space where we can begin to explore what’s troubling you and work toward meaningful change.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust, an internationally renowned psychoanalytic centre for the development of psychotherapy. I completed a PGdip, MA in psychodynamic psychotherapy and advanced clinical training in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
In addition to private practice, I hold an honorary role with the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust. I also work as a suicide liaison and bereavement counsellor for the North Central London Support After Suicide Service.
I am a full member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
