About me
Supporting people in a non-judgmental, empathic and compassionate way is not just a job but a way of being for me and has been for nearly a decade of this work.
It is really important to acknowledge when we need support, and understand there is no shame in reaching out when we do. I truly believe we all know what is best for ourselves, but have lost connection to our source of strength and intuition. Over time people become convinced they can't rely on their decisions for various reasons - because the world tells them they aren't good enough, other people state they know what is best for us, that we are wrong and can't rely on ourselves, saying things like, "I told you so..." or giving other unhelpful and judgmental feedback.
Whatever your needs, our work together is about helping you let go of the voices from others telling you you're wrong, you're not enough or you need to change and rely on your own resources, ideas, decisions and reconnect to your intuition.
My approach to client work is creative and unique, integrating various modalities and practices to suit your situation. As some people are "morning people" I offer sessions starting at 6am.
If you are sick of destructive patterns, poor relationships, if you are sick and tired of feeling anxiety, depressed, or of not being good enough, get in touch to start your change today.

Training, qualifications & experience
I have experience in a variety of sectors including charity work, bereavement and hospice services, children and young people, in the NHS and education sectors. I worked in emergency medicine before moving over to talking therapies over a decade ago.
I have a multimodal approach to client work that is tailored to the client, what works for them and what they wish to work through. These include compassion focused therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness based approaches, integrated sand tray therapy as well as more 'traditional' talking therapy such as person-centred and narrative therapies.
I also use Narrative Exposure Therapy and Flash Technique for trauma experiences.
I also offer walk / talk therapy which is usually conducted at Delamere Forest, utilising nature as both a healing environment and a source for creative expression using natures found objects.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
