About me
Having trained in various modalities over the years, I work as a therapist and clinical supervisor using an integrative approach. My ideology is based on Humanistic theory; offering you a safe, empathic environment where we can experience relational depth in therapy, therefore creating the ideal circumstances for you to access your inner resources to heal.
Additionally, my approach is trauma-informed. I am a certified provider of tension, trauma and stress releasing exercises (TRE), a technique that releases deeply embedded muscular patterns of tension, calming down the nervous system and encouraging the body to return to a state of balance. I also work as a fully trained Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist; an innovative psychotherapy that uses bilateral stimulation to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. I have recently trained in Internal Family Systems (Level 1); a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of multiple inner parts, each with distinct roles, led by an undamaged core Self, capable of healing. By connecting with this Self, individuals can understand and heal their wounded and protective parts, fostering internal harmony and personal growth.
My interventions have been used to aid in the management of post-traumatic stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, complicated grief, anger, pain relief, body image and relationship concerns among other presenting concerns.

This commitment enables me to deepen my understanding of trauma and support clients in developing greater awareness, resilience, and connection with themselves.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on your needs and goals. Sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly. We will discuss and decide together what feels most appropriate at the outset of our work and review this as needed.
As an accredited registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
To support safe, ethical, and effective practice, my clinical work is overseen through regular supervision with an experienced clinical supervisor. This forms an important part of my ongoing professional development and helps ensure that I maintain high standards of care for my clients.
I am to respond to queries as soon as possible.
