Qualified & Accredited Counsellor

About me

Hi, I’m Nikita, a qualified and accredited counsellor offering a warm, down-to-earth space where you can talk openly without judgement.

You might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not quite like yourself. Sometimes it’s hard to put into words, just a sense that something isn’t right. Whatever brings you here, we can take the time to make sense of it together.

I began my counselling training in 2016 and have been working with clients since 2019, with over a thousand hours of experience supporting a wide range of challenges. This includes anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, and trauma such as PTSD or childhood experiences that may still be shaping how things feel today.

My approach is integrative and grounded in the person-centred approach, meaning I adapt how we work to best suit you. Some people need space to explore and reflect, while others benefit from more structure and tools. I can also draw on CBT and am trained in Rewind Therapy, a gentle and effective approach for working with trauma.

Therapy can feel like untangling a complex story, where experiences, beliefs, and emotions are all woven together. I often think of it like a cork board and red string, with you at the centre. Together, we can begin to connect the dots and understand how things have come to feel the way they do for you. This can bring clarity, self-understanding, and a stronger sense of being back in control of your own life.

Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own. You don’t need to have everything figured out. We can take it one step at a time, together.

Rewind Therapy
I’m trained in Rewind Therapy, a gentle and non-intrusive approach used to treat PTSD and trauma responses. Unlike traditional trauma therapy, you don’t need to share the details of what happened unless you choose to, the process works without retelling or re-experiencing the event. Many people notice significant shifts in their symptoms within just one session (average 1-3 sessions), with ongoing improvements as the brain safely reprocesses the memory. It’s a calm, structured technique that can offer relief without the overwhelm that some trauma work brings.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients through Rewind Therapy, and it’s some of the most moving work I do. Watching someone find their way back to themselves after trauma is something I never take for granted.
