About me

I believe that everyone has the capacity for healing and growth. With the right support, you can reconnect with your inner strengths, reduce anxiety, and create meaningful change.

I am a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist working with adults online. I offer a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed therapeutic space where you can explore your experiences safely and at your own pace.

Many people come to therapy carrying experiences that can feel difficult to put into words. Art therapy provides an alternative way of communicating thoughts, feelings, memories, and bodily sensations through creative expression. The process of creating images or objects can help externalise experiences, offering enough distance to explore them with greater safety, understanding, and self-compassion. No artistic skill or experience is needed; the focus is not on producing artwork but on using creativity as a tool for reflection, expression, and healing.

My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, recognising the impact that life experiences can have on our emotional wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self. I work collaboratively with clients to create a therapeutic relationship that prioritises safety, choice, empowerment, and respect.

Alongside art psychotherapy, I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) practices into my work. IFS is a gentle and compassionate therapeutic model that allows us to understand the different parts of ourselves, which each carry their own feelings, beliefs, experiences, and protective roles. Through curiosity and compassion, we can begin to understand these parts, reduce inner conflict, and develop a stronger connection to our core Self. Combining IFS with creative approaches can help bring these inner experiences into view, making them easier to explore, understand, and transform.

I believe that therapy can provide a space to reconnect with yourself, develop greater self-understanding, and discover new ways of relating to life's challenges. Whether you are seeking support with trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem, or personal growth, I aim to offer a supportive environment where all parts of you are welcome.

"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." – Rumi
