Psychotherapist (MCoun, Snr Accr Member BACP)

About me

Are anxiety, overthinking, low self-esteem, stress, or difficult relationships preventing you from living the life you want? Perhaps you've tried to manage things on your own but feel stuck in the same patterns. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

Brain Train Me provides down-to-earth, expert guidance in better understanding yourself. I specialise in working with anxiety, emotional regulation, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma and life transitions. I offer opportunities for you to put key techniques and strategies into practice, giving you the tools you need to achieve emotional well-being.

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I won't simply sit and nod while you talk. Together we'll explore what's happening beneath the surface, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop strategies that help you feel more confident and in control.

Our first meeting is a no-obligation consultation where you get to hear how I work, and I get to hear about what you want to get from the experience. See how you feel after that session. Finding the right therapist matters and I encourage clients to choose someone they feel comfortable working with.

My practice is based in Warfield, serving Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Crowthorne, Reading, and the surrounding areas. I also offer therapy sessions online or by phone.

I am committed to the BACP Ethical Framework, and as part of that, I take part in regular supervision. I have up-to-date DBS clearance and Professional Liability Insurance.

Whether you're facing a specific difficulty or simply want to understand yourself better, therapy can provide a safe space to reflect, grow and make lasting changes.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be happy to hear from you.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
