Counselling Changes ... I am an experienced qualified therapist . I offer counselling for individuals wanting to make sense of their lives and couple counselling . I manage a small private practice working from ,Waterlooville and Hambledon
There are times when we feel we can no longer turn to friends , the GP surgery is always busy and yet we are filled with fear and anxiety that continues to linger , you may notice your anxiety triggers depression leaving you feeling constantly tired , this might be impacting on your relationship and things are reaching crisis point , our crisis point can lead to unhealthy life style choices , alcohol , substance misuse , gambling, addiction may seem a simple solution to lives trials but then your addiction becomes the problem .
I respect making the decision to contact a counsellor can be overwhelming. I would like to offer reassurance , I have eleven years experience as qualified counsellor , and I worked in the social care sector for over 20 years . I am deeply passionate about the service I offer and the people I work with. I highly value how counselling can help us see things with a deeper sense of clarity. I offer each client my full respect while staying with their process , acknowledging their stress , in addition to their strengths and resilience.
Regardless of age , gender or financial position each of us will be presented with life challenges that can often be overwhelming . It is my belief should we want to make changes then by looking at the things that make us unhappy or uncomfortable we can then decide how to work towards our goals and aspirations
Change takes courage and this can seem unimaginable , however the unimaginable can become a reality liberating , exciting , opening new doors . Should you choose for us to work together I offer an environment where you have the space to feel confident in speaking openly, encouraging you to reach your full potential .
I attend continual personal counselling and updated training. Life experience has taught me sensitive topics however disconcerting loose their toxicity once acknowledged . I believe if sensitive issues are hidden they can have an unpleasant habit of re -emerging. It is not uncommon for people to believe they cannot share their experience's as they could be viewed as too shocking or shameful. As a counsellor I work to move away from limiting language and judgements that can trap us in our negative thought processes. Once we are open our healing process can begin , allowing a true sense of autonomy
