About me

Hi I am a cognitive behavioural therapist working remotely and in person from the south side of Glasgow. I have been working with client from a variety of backgrounds, age groups and genders over the last year. My clients often want to talk through relationship and personal worries, often clients experience anxiety and low self esteem. I have worked with a number of clients with OCD. My approach is client focused and we can work in a very structured way if that is appropriate or we can work in way that is more flexible and less structured. My main priority is the clients well being and working with them towards their personal goals.

I offer Cognitive behavioural therapy, the focus is on what is going on for you in terms of thoughts, feeling and what behaviours are contributing towards how you feel. We look at changing the way we interact with thoughts and this has an effect on how you feel.

Feel free to get in touch, via email or by phone if preferred. I am happy to offer a free phone consultation to answer any questions you may have prior to starting therapy. While it can be difficult to make the first step, it is always worth reaching out.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
