About me
Individual & Couples Therapy
I specialise in working with trauma, offering an integrated approach that combines psychotherapy, counselling, attachment-focused EMDR, and hypnotherapy, with a strong emphasis on the mind-body connection. I provide a safe, supportive space to help individuals and couples heal and grow.
Each session is tailored to your unique needs in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space. Together, we'll explore your thoughts and feelings, reflecting on both the past and present while connecting mind and body to support growth and change. Together working to challenge unhelpful patterns when needed. You’re free to express yourself openly, with trust and acceptance holding our therapeutic relationship.
While my focus is on providing long-term therapy, I understand that some clients may be looking for shorter-term support. I offer a limited number sessions are held on a weekly basis, as I find this consistency is key to of short-term therapy blocks, depending on availability and individual needs. All creating meaningful and lasting change.
Ad hoc sessions may be possible, depending on current availability. As these aren't offered for advance booking, you're welcome to get in touch and enquire about any space that week
Sessions are available in person at my private space in Cubley, Derbyshire, or online via Zoom for those who prefer the comfort of therapy at home.
My location is conveniently located just a 10-minute car journey from Uttoxeter and Ashbourne and within 20 minutes from Stoke-on-Trent, Burton on Trent, and Derby. I am situated just 5 minutes off the A50 Sudbury roundabout.
My approach is relational, rooted in openness and honesty. I work with a wide range of clients and offer a space where you can be fully yourself. I'm a neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ friendly therapist who welcomes all parts of you.
Your questions and concerns matter, and I’m here to provide clarity and support. Before booking your initial session, feel free to reach out via email, text, or phone. We can arrange a brief chat to discuss your needs before your first appointment.
As a fully qualified accredited registered member of NCPS, and a member of BACP I adhere to both code of ethics frameworks. Maintaining professional integrity and ensuring client confidentiality are paramount to me at Live Life Happy Therapy.
Training, qualifications & experience
"Qualifications and Experience"
After entering the mental health field in 2019, I set up Live Life Happy Therapy. My passion lies in working with complex clients - both individuals and couples. I especially love EMDR, psychotherapy, and meditation as powerful tools for deep, lasting change.
I work relationally, integrating somatic approaches and supporting the connection between body and mind. I’m deeply invested in my clients’ well-being and offer a supportive, grounded space where meaningful transformation can unfold.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy riding my horse and spending time with my family at home - the things that help keep me sane in the chaos of life!

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
