About me
A very warm welcome.
I fully understand the most daunting part of any counselling journey is the first step. It can be particularly challenging when faced with life challenges or when feeling at your lowest.
It's crucial to find a therapist you feel safe and at ease with. To facilitate this, I provide an introductory session at a reduced rate of £30.00. This session allows us to explore whether our connection is the right fit for your needs.
There are a myriad of reasons you may be seeking counselling, addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma or even just not feeling right in the world, maybe you are sad and not fully engaged with life the way you'd like to be.
As an integrative counsellor, I incorporate a range of therapeutic approaches. However, ultimately the power of therapy is in our relationship. My approach is person-centred, creating a warm and open space where you feel comfortable trusting me with your inner experience. I won't lead you; it's your time and space and we will explore together.
I believe in the fundamental human need for connection and acceptance. Often, unresolved pain and past trauma hinder our growth in the present. Exploring together we can find new ways of navigating our lives and ultimately find a greater sense of wellbeing.
I have extensive experience in addiction and fertility issues. Pre and postnatal, infertility, miscarriage , grief and loss.
Conveniently located just outside Bury St Edmunds, my private practice is easily accessible via public transport and has onsite parking.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
