About me
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure where to turn. Reaching out for support shows strength, and I’m here to walk alongside you in finding a way forward.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to me feeling exhausted from coping alone, but through our work they often discover new perspectives, greater self-understanding, and a sense of relief that they don’t have to carry everything by themselves.
My approach
Therapy is not “one-size-fits-al”. I draw from different approaches, so that we can shape the sessions around what feels right for you. Some people value
having a safe space to talk freely and be heard, others want more practical tools and gentle challenges to help them make changes. We will work together to find the balance that supports you best.
What to expect
Our sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly at first, and can be short-term or longer depending on your needs. Therapy is your space: confidential, supportive, and focused on what matters most to you.
Getting started
I currently offer sessions online, so you can connect from the comfort of your own home. To make it easier to decide if I’m the right fit, I offer a free 30 minute consultation. This is a chance for us to talk through what you’re looking for, ask any questions, and see how it feels to work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
As an integrative counsellor, I draw techniques from the theories of Person Centred Counselling, Gestalt, and TA. I am also a wellbeing life coach and as a dual practitioner, I integrate tools from Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Erikson's Life stages, Petruska Clarkson 5- Stage model and others.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
