Integrative Psychotherapist MSc Therapeutic Counselling

About me

Have you imagined what life could feel like if you woke up feeling calm, content and able to enjoy your days again? I’m Nathalie and as an integrative psychotherapist, I offer a space to help you make sense of your anxiety, low mood, meaninglessness and relationship struggles. Together, we will gently explore your past experiences, bring awareness to what’s happening for you now and reconnect you with what truly matters to you so you can create the changes you want to see in your life.

I believe you deserve a space where you can be yourself and feel truly heard, understood and supported in your therapy journey. In our sessions, we will explore your thoughts, feelings and sense of self, helping you to show up for yourself and others with more ease. Together, we will work towards what feels important to you, supporting you to put your needs first without guilt and to create more room for self-compassion in your life.

I know that finding the right therapist can feel like a big step. I offer a free in-person or online consultation, so we can take some time to talk, explore what you’re looking for and see if I might be the right fit for you.

Difficulties we can work on:

You might feel lost right now and unsure how to put your struggles into words. Perhaps, your mood is low or numb and the things that once brought you joy no longer do. You may be tired of the constant self-criticism of feeling like you’re never quite enough.

Some days it might be hard just to get out of bed. Your mind keeps replaying what you said, what you did, or what you wish you’d done differently. Maybe you try to avoid your sadness or you’re afraid of what might come up if you let yourself truly feel.

You might be grieving someone you’ve lost, trying to make sense of life without them. Or perhaps work has left you exhausted and questioning the direction your life has taken. You may find yourself stuck in loops of overthinking, worrying about the past, the future or both.

Maybe you’ve been hurt before and that pain still touches your relationships today. You could be living with a chronic condition that affects your daily life and sense of self. You might want to understand yourself better, connect more deeply with others or find new ways to relate to the people around you.

And perhaps, at the heart of it all, you find yourself questioning what it means to be you, wondering how to live a life that feels more meaningful, fulfilling and true to who you are.

How Integrative Therapy Can Help

I offer a safe and supportive space where you can talk about what’s been difficult at your own pace. You may want to explore experiences from your past, times of loss or trauma or challenges you’re facing right now. Together, we can begin to make sense of what feels painful or confusing and explore what truly matters to you.

Over time, I’ve learned how powerful the therapeutic relationship can be in creating real change. When you feel seen and understood, new ways of being can begin to emerge. I will meet you with empathy, curiosity, and warmth, and together we’ll explore what it means for you to live with more authenticity and self-understanding. As an integrative therapist, I draw on psychodynamic, existential and gestalt approaches. This means we might explore how your past shapes your present, reflect on the choices and meanings that guide your life, and bring awareness to how you experience yourself and others in the here and now. By combining these approaches, therapy becomes uniquely tailored to you, to your story, your values, and the person you are becoming.

In our first session

In our first session we will explore what brought you to therapy. We will discuss how long you wish to have counselling for, your goals and expectations. I can meet you in person in my therapy rooms in Brighton or Hove or virtually.

I can work flexibly on a short-term or long-term basis. I currently offer weekly Thursday and Friday slots.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
