About me
I am a compassionate and person-centred counsellor who believes that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to be heard and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental, helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace while building confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.
I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, low mood, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and the emotional demands of parenting and caring responsibilities. I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, so I aim to create a welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself.
My practice is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique experiences. Rather than offering quick solutions, I work alongside you to help you make sense of your experiences, discover your own strengths, and move towards the changes that matter most to you.
I offer counselling in a calm, confidential, and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds are welcome. Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply feel that something isn't quite right, I am here to support you on your journey towards greater wellbeing and emotional balance.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I have a genuine passion for working alongside people as they navigate life's challenges. My own experiences of a difficult childhood and personal life challenges have given me a deep sense of empathy and understanding for what it can feel like to struggle. These experiences have shaped the counsellor I am today and strengthened my belief in the healing power of being truly heard and accepted.
Clients often describe me as kind, caring, compassionate, approachable, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing whatever is on your mind, without fear of judgement or pressure.
I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone. Each person is unique, with their own experiences, strengths, and way of making sense of the world. My integrative and holistic approach allows us to work together in a way that feels right for you, drawing on different therapeutic approaches and, where appropriate, creative methods. There is no right or wrong way to engage in counselling—our work together will be guided by your needs, your pace, and what feels most meaningful to you.
I understand that contacting a counsellor can feel daunting. Taking that first step often requires courage, and I appreciate how vulnerable it can feel. If you decide to get in touch, you can expect a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental response. My hope is that from our very first contact, you will feel listened to, respected, and supported as we explore whether we are the right fit to work together.
