About me

Warm welcome to my practice!

I’m an integrative therapist who offers a warm, compassionate approach grounded in trust, care, and ethical principles. My practice is shaped by your unique goals and experiences, with confidentiality, honesty, and integrity at its core. I tailor each session to you, adapting my support as your needs evolve. I’ll gently and sensitively challenge you when helpful, encouraging new perspectives, deeper self-awareness, and meaningful, lasting change.

I offer evening and weekend sessions, both in-person and online.

A journey we take together
Therapy is not always easy, it’s a process that can feel challenging or even overwhelming at times. It’s normal to feel like things get harder before they get better. My role is to walk alongside you through those dark and difficult moments, to make the overwhelming parts of your journey feel a little more manageable.

I’m reminded of a quote that resonates deeply with my work:
“When you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark.”

Training, qualifications & experience

I have extensive experience working within the social care and mental health sector, working both with young people and adults. My experience prior to becoming a counsellor was working with neurodivergent young people (Autism, ADHD, ADD, early childhood trauma and ACEs, mild to severe learning difficulties)using a trauma-informed approach backed by PACE and DDP. I have worked with organisations such as Mind, The Parenting Project, and Bower House Christian Counselling Services. I'm committed to Continuous Professional Development and often refresh my knowledge by attending relevant courses to my practice.

My qualifications:

  • MSc Integrative Counselling (The University of Northampton)
  • Graduate Certificate Person-Centred Counselling (Keele University)
  • BSc Psychology and Criminology (Coventry University)
  • Level 3 Residential Childcare
  • Working with Traumatic Loss and Grief
  • Contextualising Autistic Experience: 4 Life Domains in Therapy
  • Level 2 PACE training
  • Level 2 Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Young People
  • Level 2 in Preventing self-harm and suicide
  • Level 1 Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP)

Areas of counselling I deal with

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I believe that any area of concern and symptoms are often caused by past traumas and are ways of communicating something is not right with the way you may feel. This is why concentrating on the problem on its own is not always the solution.
