About me

Hi, my name is Michelle

Struggling with life's challenges? You don't have to face these alone, If anxiety or worries are disrupting your life; I can help you. We can look at what is causing these feelings in a confidential, non-judgmental therapeutic way. I work in an integrative way which means I match my skills to what suits you, such as talking therapy or this could involve using creative methods or breath work to support managing your anxiety. Don’t worry if this doesn't appeal and you just want someone to talk to, my focus will be on how you want to work, supporting you through what is causing distress.

I offer an initial free, no obligation, phone call or online meeting, before we agree to work together. It’s important for you to feel comfortable with me as your choice of counsellor.

This is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to counselling and for you to get a sense of me and how we might work together.

This is also a chance to ask any questions you might have and for us to talk about how counselling works, for example, what client confidentiality is and what it means for you.

I offer sessions online or in person in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire or Hitchin Hertfordshire. If you would like to see if we can work together, get in touch for a free 15 min chat to explore if I am the right counsellor for you. you can book an intro call at the top of the page or email me.

Please contact me if you’d like to arrange this.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
