About me
Hello, I’m Mia. Taking the first step to explore therapy is a big decision - so I’m glad you have found your way here.
Practicalities
I offer weekly psychotherapy for adults from my private consulting room in West London (Chiswick) and online.
I work during the week and on Sundays and offer morning, daytime and evening appointments, including some early mornings and late evenings.
About Me
Before training as a therapist, I spent many years working in both marketing & in the wellness industry. I have lived not only in the UK but also in Europe and the USA.
Training, qualifications & experience
My Training
I trained at The Minster Centre, one of the UK’s leading institutes for counselling and psychotherapy, and have worked with clients for several years.
What I Can Help With
I am trained to work with a wide variety of issues, but I have particular experience with relationships (romantic, family or work-related), trauma (childhood adversity and domestic abuse). I also work with anxiety and depression, addiction, self-esteem and grief & bereavement (including pet loss). Alongside my private practice, I work within the NHS, offering psychological support to people affected by cancer.
I work in an integrative and relational way, offering a dependable space where you can slow down and explore what’s going on beneath the surface. My hope is that, over time, you can feel more grounded and more connected to yourself.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Would you like to get in touch?
If you’re curious about starting therapy, I invite you to get in touch. You can email me with as much or as little information as you like, including the location and time you’re hoping for. I know reaching out can feel like a big step, so I aim to reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.
You may then decide to book in for your first session, where we can speak in more detail and also discuss the timeframe and set-up of your therapy. Introductory sessions are payable and last 50 minutes.
After that, sessions are usually held weekly at the same time. Occasionally, I am able to offer more flexible arrangements. I work with individual adults only.
