About me

Hello, I’m Megan, a qualified integrative counsellor and therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Over time, we develop beliefs about who we are and how we should be. These beliefs can shape our behaviours, often without us realising. You might find yourself stuck in familiar patterns, unsure where they come from or how to move beyond them. In our work together, we'll explore these patterns with curiosity, awareness, and compassion—helping you reconnect with what truly feels right for you.

I believe there’s real value in having a regular space that’s just for you—somewhere to tune into your feelings without judgement or pressure. Whatever you're facing right now, I offer a gentle, supportive environment where you can explore your inner world safely. At the heart of my approach is deep, empathic listening—holding space for all parts of your experience. This, I believe, is a powerful foundation for healing and self-acceptance.

Training, qualifications & experience

My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic models and techniques to suit your individual needs. I believe that each person’s journey is unique, so our work together will be tailored specifically to you.

The therapeutic relationship is a central part of my practice. I work relationally, which means I see the connection between us as a key part of the healing process. A strong, trusting relationship provides the foundation for meaningful growth and change.

I bring a creative, collaborative, and intuitive energy to our sessions, tuning in closely to what you bring into the space. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirmative, trauma-informed, and rooted in anti-racist values—ensuring a supportive, inclusive environment where all parts of you are welcome.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
