About me

Life can at times feel overwhelming, confusing or heavy, therapy can provide a safe space to explore, understand, and find your own way forward.

I offer a warm, calm, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel supported. You may feel anxious, depressed, stuck, or unsure where to begin — and that’s completely okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Together, we can explore whatever is on your mind, at your pace, in a way that feels safe and manageable.

It can be difficult to open up; here you’ll find a space where you can share freely without judgement. I work from a humanistic, integrative approach, trusting that within a supportive relationship we can explore how your beliefs, experiences, and patterns of coping have shaped your life. Through gentle enquiry and reflection, we can discover new ways of thinking, feeling, and being that are more authentic and meaningful to you.

Anxiety, depression, fear, and persistent dissatisfaction may not simply be problems to eliminate. They may instead be feelings that invite—or even compel us—to pay closer attention to ourselves. While one perspective sees these experiences as symptoms to be reduced or managed, a more soulful perspective recognises that they carry meaning.

In psychotherapy, we listen to these messages rather than focusing solely on eliminating symptoms. Emotional struggles can be understood as signals from a deeper part of ourselves, inviting us to reconnect with who we truly are. They can guide us towards greater authenticity, clarity, and purpose, drawing our attention to aspects of our lives that may need care, change, or integration.

Therapy is an incredible investment in your future – that everyone deserves access to. This means acknowledging financial diversity, which is why I use a sliding scale of fees. This ensures I am able to make my services widely available

Training, qualifications & experience

My professional training at Re-vision uses a 'Soulful approach' integrating concepts from Jungian, Gestalt, relational, psychodynamic, neuroscience, body psychotherapy and family systems theory as well as developmental and archetypal psychology.

I furthered my professional training in 'Nature Allied Psychotherapy' with the Nature Therapy School, understanding how practicing with Nature can aid personal recovery and growth. In short; we all have a deep connection to Nature that can provide a supportive and regulating presence that allows us to journey deeper into our understanding of ourselves and the world we live in.

I participated in the 'River of Soul' course; a series of workshops that explore personal and interpersonal themes. This training understands myth and fairy tales as a medium to provide us with a way to better understand our psychology and the different archetypes that we all carry to a greater or lesser degree.

Before setting up my own practice, I worked as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor for the New Road Psychotherapy Centre (NRPC) in Brighton and Hove.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

I offer a 20 - 30 minute intro session so that you can get a sense of me and the space I hold. A chance where we can check out if it’s a good fit - it’s important that you find what’s right for you.

This will be a chance for you to tell me a bit about yourself and what’s going on for you. You might have some questions and I can tell you more about what it would be like to have therapy with me
