About me

I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy to individuals and couples in Holloway and Hornsey. Whether you are thinking of coming to therapy at a time of crisis, or at a time to understand more fully what is happening in your life, talking with a therapist can be very helpful. I believe that challenges provide opportunities for change, growth and transformation.  I will provide a safe and confidential space and support you to explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that may affect the way you think about and relate to yourself and others.

I have specialist expertise in supporting women who have experienced domestic violence/abuse, the emotional effects of crime. and the impact of sexual or emotional abuse.  I have extensive experience of working therapeutically with children, young people, and families around a range of issues including relationship breakdown.

Recent issues people have explored include the following:

  • Anxiety
  • Relationship issues
  • Couple counselling
  • Family issues
  • Feelings of depression
  • Post natal depression
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Childhood trauma and abuse
  • Sexual, physical, emotional abuse
  • Health related issues
  • Feelings of low self esteem or low self confidence
  • Anger management

Please feel free to telephone or email me if you would like to ask any questions about how I work, the process of beginning therapy, or to arrange an initial, confidential consultation.
