About me
Are you feeling anxious? Unsure as to where life is taking you? My aim is to enable you to talk about whatever feels important to you. It might be you just need a space to talk, be listened to, explore thoughts and feelings about how life is, or it might be you are looking to free yourself from patterns of behaving that no longer serve you.
You might feel dissatisfied, unsure how to create the life you’d like; I will work with you to listen, understand, and support you to find a different way of living that is more satisfying and empowering.
I have experience in various sectors, including finance, journalism and hospitality and I understand the pressures that work, family and relationships can place on us and the importance of managing these experiences to find a satisfying balance and live with authenticity.
I bring my warmth, intelligence, integrity and understanding to the work, with a commitment to holding a safe and space for you. If you have any questions about how I could work with you then please call or email me to arrange an initial, exploratory session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and therapy with me is a collaborative process where we explore what’s holding you back and work toward what matters most to you. Sessions are focused on present-moment awareness and curiosity, helping us uncover patterns, process blocked emotions, and develop tools for navigating life’s complexities. Whether you’re aiming to build deeper intimacy, find fulfilment in your career, or address unresolved trauma, our work together is designed to help you reconnect with your strengths and values.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I suggest we start with a telephone consultation. There is no charge for this and it normally lasts around ten minutes. After this we would have a first session which is treated like any session in terms of time and fee and is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for me to gain an understanding of who you are and what you'd like from therapy.
