About me
Hello and thank you for looking at my profile. I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor. I currently provide counselling at a domestic violence charity supporting adults children and young people who have experienced trauma, often presenting with anxiety, OCD, family conflict aggression and anger issues. I work in partnership with schools and families to work towards the best outcomes for the child who often has been unheard in many cases.
I have worked as a lead therapist and supervisor for MIND supporting and managing a counselling service based in secondary and primary schools - government based collaborative project with the NHS(MHST- mental health support team)
I also have extensive experience and knowledge working with individuals diagnosed with an eating disorder this was gained whilst working at the Priory Hospital eating disorder clinic and have worked within a specialist NHS team.
My counselling approach is warm honest ethical and understanding. I have supported many different issues and concerns and worked with many individuals who have required understanding and support and guidance to make sense of what they are experiencing and how to move forward building a non judgemental therapeutic relationship embedded in kindness. Therapy can be a space for you in which you will be listened to and can work through any concerns you may have or can just be a space where you have an opportunity to discuss whatever you wish in complete confidence and privacy. I am accredited and fully abide the BACP ethical guidelines whom I am registered with. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your concerns. I will book in a phonecall at your convenience.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
