What therapy with me can be like?
Therapy is your time: a space to talk, reflect, feel and be yourself. No issue is too big or too small, and you will not be judged or pushed into sharing anything you do not want to.
We will usually meet at the same day and time each week for 50 minutes. In our first session, we will talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope for, and how we might work together.
Therapy is not always straightforward. It can be messy, frustrating, calm, joyful, sad, and sometimes even something to laugh about. It is not a quick fix, but a self-exploratory process that can help you make sense of your experiences, emotions and relationships.
You remain in control of your therapeutic journey, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.
I hope our work can support you to feel more alive and to develop self-love and compassion for yourself.
My integrative approach
I have a genuine interest in the human mind, and I believe everyone should have the freedom to be "you" in a confidential space.
I believe genuine human connection is at the heart of therapeutic change: having a space where you can be heard, understood and accepted as you are.
I work in an integrative approach, drawing mainly on person-centred and psychodynamic approaches within a relational framework.
At different times, I may draw on ideas from other approaches, such as Transactional Analysis (TA), Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, depending on what I find might be helpful for you.
Inclusivity and accessibility
Inclusivity and accessibility are important to my practice. I respect the uniqueness of who you are and welcome people of all sexualities, cultural backgrounds and lived experiences of neurodivergence.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
