About me
Hi there! I'm Madeleine, and I have created Correlate Counselling; A fully inclusive couples, relationship, and individual counselling service in the heart of Worcester City centre.
I believe our relationships are one of the most important parts of being human. Both our relationship with ourselves and those close to us impact our wellbeing, and so my work focuses on connecting, developing and maintaining healthy relationships through counselling. I work holistically, encouraging reflection, self awareness and a space to release the weight of our experiences.
I work with individual clients, and clients in relationships including:
- Couples in monogamous romantic relationships
- Parent and adult child
- Siblings
- Friendships
- Working relationships
- Step parent and adult child/ blended families
- Co-habiting
- Separated partners
- Open Relationships and Polyamorous dynamics
My approach is to challenge, support, and empower my clients to elevate their relationships with self and with others. Focusing on connection, reflection, accountability and reality, I work in an integrative, non-judgmental way with sessions aimed at supporting clients to develop skills, confidence and a sense of safety that can be carried throughout their lives.
I understand how profoundly our experiences shape us; both how we feel about ourselves, our close ones, and the world around us. Sometimes, our life experiences impact us in a way that makes forming connections, relationships and finding joy difficult. Our current situations and dynamics may be uncomfortable, problematic and not aligning with our personal hopes. I am here to empower individuals to understand, relate, and empathise with themselves and others to enrich their lives and experience fulfilment.
If you are searching for a counselling experience that is beneficial, challenging, empowering and supportive, please get in touch today!
Let's Co-relate and Correlate.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
- I currently offer face to face and online sessions for individual clients. For couples/ other relationships, I offer only face to face sessions to maintain safety.
- My approach incorporates elements from Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and relational approaches. My primary aim is to develop a positive therapeutic relationship with clients where they feel heard, respected and safe. I include some elements of CBT to my work to offer tools for clients in the form of interventions that support a sense of wellbeing to help us explore more deeply. By developing a strong therapeutic alliance, this also offers a space where challenge is safe and offers clients the opportunity to really reflect on their personal circumstances or feelings. I work with my clients to empower them, and challenge is a healthy part of this process.
- The premises is a multi use building right in Worcester City centre. The space is on the 1st floor, at the end of a corridor and is very private. There are bathroom facilities in the building, and water will be available in session. If you wish to bring hot drinks, you are more than welcome.
