About me

I'm Lucy from Shine Therapy.

Life can be hard, and sometimes it helps to take space to figure out what's going on for you. There's not many situations in this fast-paced life where you can regularly experience someone giving you their undivided time, empathy and care, and this is why I feel therapy is so important for many people.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of how we work together. I offer a free 30 minute consultation to discuss what this might look like, because it's really hard choose a therapist just by reading a profile!

I'm based on Victoria Dock, Hull, but also offer online sessions.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups and offer a reduced rate for counselling students.
