About me

I'm Lucy from Shine Therapy.

Life can be hard, and sometimes it helps to take space to figure out what's going on for you. There's not many situations in this fast-paced life where you can regularly experience someone giving you their undivided time, empathy and care, and this is why I feel therapy is so important for many people.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of how we work together. I offer a free 30 minute consultation to discuss what this might look like.

I work with individuals, couples and groups and offer a reduced rate for students.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
