About me
Finding the right therapist can feel like a big step, particularly if you’re not quite sure where to start. You may have reached a point where things feel difficult to manage, or perhaps you’ve noticed patterns in your relationships, your thoughts, or the way you respond to situations and want to understand them a little more.
I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever feels important to you. I work relationally, which means I see the relationship we build together as an important part of the therapeutic process. I believe that feeling safe, heard, and understood can give us the space we need to explore parts of ourselves that may have felt difficult to approach alone.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis and Attachment Theory. This allows me to adapt our work to you, rather than expecting you to fit into one particular way of working.
I'm particularly interested in attachment and how our early experiences and relationships can continue to influence how we see ourselves and connect with others. Together, we can gently explore where some of these patterns may have come from, how they might be showing up in your life now, and whether there are different ways to understand or respond to them.
ADHD is also an area I'm especially interested in: how it can affect how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our experiences. Whether you have been diagnosed, are in the process of seeking a diagnosis, or simply wonder whether ADHD may be part of your experience, therapy can provide a space to explore this safely and without judgement. My own experience of receiving a later-in-life diagnosis has given me an understanding of the questions that can arise when you begin to see yourself and your experiences through a different lens. I can support you in exploring these discoveries, understanding yourself more fully and finding ways to move forward that work for you.
Therapy doesn’t always have to be about finding the right words. Where it feels helpful, I also enjoy working creatively, using things such as metaphor, imagery, timelines, or simple drawing to explore feelings and experiences in a different way.
My hope is that therapy can offer you a space to slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing and, ultimately, feel more able to move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
