About me

Life can be challenging at times. Whether you're feeling anxious, stressed, stuck, low, grieving or simply ready for change, you don't have to navigate it alone.

At Wisdom Within, therapy is not simply about coping, it is about understanding yourself more deeply, reconnecting with who you are, and creating meaningful, lasting change from within.

My therapy work integrates a blend of therapeutic approaches that support both mind and body, offering a tailored experience that honours your individual needs, experiences and goals. This includes:

  • Psychotherapy (to help you to understand yourself, your patterns, reflect and process)
  • Hypnotherapy (to work at a deeper level with thoughts, beliefs, habits, fears and concerns)
  • Coaching (to support change and direction)
  • Holistic therapies and techniques (to support and balance both mind and body)

I specialise in offering support with:

  • Stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm & burnout
  • Low mood
  • Life Transitions & change
  • Relationships and family challenges
  • Confidence, self-worth, personal growth & identity
  • Grief, loss & life transitions
  • Unhelpful thoughts, habits & feeling stuck
  • Fears and phobias
  • Infertility, abortion, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause
  • Smoking cessation and weight loss

My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I offer a safe, supportive space where you feel understood, empowered, and able to make meaningful change. I feel it is important that you are recognised an individual, a whole person, and not simply a set of symptoms. Together, we explore your experiences, identify what you need most in this moment, and find approaches and tools that feel right for you.

I provide:

  • Confidential one-to-one sessions tailored to your individual needs
  • Support delivered at a pace that feels comfortable for you
  • Flexible ways of working, including Online, In-Person, In Nature, or At Home sessions. This includes: telephone and online therapy to individuals residing in the UK, in person therapy in Kensington, Chiswick and Clapham (London), and Walk and Talk therapy in 3 London park locations during daylight hours: Holland Park, Hyde Park and Ravenscourt Park.

I offer a free no-obligation 20 minute consultation by phone, online or in person if you would like to know more and would like to consider whether working with me feels right for you or your loved ones.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been working to support the wellbeing of others and organisations for over 16 years. I am a fully qualified and registered Psychotherapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Coach.

I am registered with the British Association for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BACP) and the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR), which means my level of training meets and standards of practice meets those set out by these professional bodies and that I adhere to their ethical codes of conduct.

I have a particular interest in how the mind and body can work together to support individuals, and integrating standard western clinical techniques and approaches with eastern and more holistic concepts and techniques, which could include, but may not be limited to breathwork, mindfulness, somatic therapy, eastern philosophical teachings, neuroscience informed practice / neurohacking, NLP, reiki and bio resonance therapy.

I have experience in a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles focused on improving the wellbeing of others across a variety of settings, including working as:

  • an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Counsellor, delivering evidence-based psychotherapy to clients referred through NHS primary care
  • a Private Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Coach
  • an Intervention, Welfare & Conduct Manager within Higher Education managing significant student concerns and incidents, developing policies and procedures, training and advising staff, and acting as a departmental safeguarding lead
  • a Wellbeing & Organisational Development Strategy Lead at Stratego Consulting

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
