About me
A new season or stage in life doesn’t always feel like a fresh start. At times, it can bring a sense of uncertainty, low mood & even fear about what’s ahead especially if past experiences have been painful, overwhelming, & disappointing.
Instead of feeling hopeful, you might catch yourself bracing for what could go wrong next, carrying fatigue from simply having had to keep going for so long. If this feels familiar, you’re not alone, and there is nothing “wrong” with you for feeling this way.
Starting therapy can feel like a daunting step. Reaching out for support often comes after a great deal of strength, not failure.
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure where to turn. Many have experienced trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and long periods of coping alone.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, nor that meaningful change has to take years of work together. Therapy with me is shaped around your unique experiences, needs, and goals, offering a space where you can explore what’s been challenging for you, make sense of your emotions, and reconnect with yourself with greater compassion and clarity.
Together, we can:
- Understand and gently regulate overwhelming or difficult emotions
- Process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression or neurodiversity related challenges in a safe, contained environment
- Rebuild your sense of self, confidence, and emotional resilience
- Develop practical tools to support you through life’s challenges
- Explore holistic approaches such as Reiki or crystal healing, which can be a supportive addition when working with anxiety and trauma responses held within the body ( if this feels right for you)
If you’re looking for a therapist who offers warmth, professional insight, and a deeply respectful, person-centred approach, I would love to hear from you.
My work is also neuro-affirming, offering a space where differences are celebrated and understood with compassion rather than viewed as something to be “fixed.”
I offer a free 15–20 minute phone call or Zoom consultation, or you can book in for a session, giving us the opportunity to explore how we might work together and whether I may be the right fit for you.
I would be honoured to be part of your healing journey, contact me today-

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am fully insured, in regular clinical supervision, and committed to ethical, reflective practice.
I am also a qualified Reiki and Crystal Healer, with additional training in trauma-informed practice and nervous system support. I continue to develop my work through ongoing CPD in holistic trauma approaches.
I volunteered as a counsellor with The Rising Sun Domestic Abuse Service in Canterbury, which deeply informed my holistic way of working with trauma. It was a privilege to support women as they moved from survival to empowerment, reclaiming their identity, voice, and sense of self.
Previously, I worked as a PBS Practitioner for Kent Enablement and Prevention Service (KEPS), Kent County Council, supporting families with neurodivergent children and young people with complex needs, including foster placements. This short-term, systemic work focused on preventing family breakdown through positive behaviour assessment, multi-agency collaboration, and practical strategies that promoted regulation, independence, and long-term stability.
I have also worked with Rethink Mental Health Recovery Service, supporting individuals experiencing complex mental health difficulties including schizophrenia, BPD, and bipolar disorder. In this role, I witnessed the therapeutic impact of creative and environmental activities, such as art and gardening, in supporting recovery and reconnection.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
