About me
I am Person Centered Counsellor, combining specialist skills in Therapeutic Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Bereavement Counselling and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), working together with you to help you gain clarity on life challenges and understand patterns of thoughts, feelings and emotions, and find a way forward together that feels right for you.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood and depression, stress, addiction, low self-esteem, grief and bereavement, or simply feeling stuck. I’m here to listen with deep empathy and to support you in making sense of what you are experiencing.
Life can feel overwhelming and challenging at times and it’s not always easy to talk to family or friends and I offer a warm, comfortable space for you to be able to hopefully relax and feel supported.
I work part time for Cruse Bereavement as a Grief Counsellor as well as having a private practice.
We can have a free telephone call to discuss what you’d like or expect from your sessions and hopefully to put you at ease. Then if you like we can begin our sessions either face to face, online or by phone. There is no real amount of sessions and I don’t contract this. We will just take it step by step. Normally, weekly or bi-weekly to start with.
I also offer one off sessions for returning clients or new clients with something challenging to deal with and need some support to talk it through.
No matter what you are going through or hard it seems, you can feel some relief in knowing that there is always a way forward, even though it doesn’t always feel like it now.
I look forward to meeting you.
