About us
Local Counselling offers individual counselling for adults in Widnes and online across the UK. Sessions are available in person in Widnes or online by video and telephone.
Our counselling is informed by person-centred and integrative approaches, allowing us to offer support that is shaped around you and your needs. We offer a safe, confidential space to explore what is happening in your life at a pace that feels right for you.
You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed or stuck. You may be struggling to understand why you feel the way you do, or unsure about what needs to change.
Counselling can also support you through relationship or family difficulties, grief and loss, separation, or a major life change.
You may be finding it hard to manage boundaries, feelings of anger, loneliness, self-criticism or perfectionism. We also support adults with trauma difficulties, identity concerns, and the emotional impact of ADHD or autism.
Counselling can provide time and space to better understand your experiences, explore what matters to you, and consider what may help.
Starting counselling can feel like a big step, particularly when you are not sure where to begin. Whether you have questions or would like to book an initial session, you are welcome to get in touch.
Training, qualifications & experience
