Anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, suicidal ideation

About me

I offer professional counselling and psychotherapy tailored to your individual needs, providing a safe, confidential, and compassionate space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is inclusive and flexible, and I welcome clients with diverse needs, including ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, trauma, and other life challenges.

I have extensive experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, emotional distress, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and periods of crisis. This includes working with those experiencing self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or who have been bereaved by suicide.

I also have specialist experience supporting individuals and families affected by cancer, life-limiting illness, chronic health conditions, end-of-life concerns, and bereavement within hospital and hospice settings.

Whether you are facing a significant life event, navigating relationship or family challenges, struggling with anxiety or low mood, coping with loss, illness, or change, feeling overwhelmed by stress, or simply sensing that something isn't quite right, therapy can offer a space to be heard, understood, and supported.

No concern is too big or too small. I welcome people from all walks of life and am experienced in working with a wide range of emotional, psychological, and life challenges. Together, we can explore what is happening for you at your own pace and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling and am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I use a pluralistic approach to support clients experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges.

My professional development includes advanced study in Adult Psychological Trauma through the Faculty of Brain Sciences at University College London (UCL).

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
