About me
Are you looking for a therapist because you are struggling with life and not sure why you are not coping? 20 years ago that was me. I had never considered therapy before, nor had anyone else in my family, but I was lost and none of my usual coping strategies were working anymore. I didn’t really see how just talking to someone could help.
That decision to seek help and start therapy was the best one I ever made. It led to who I am today personally and professionally. I am kinder to myself, and more confident. The learning that happened for me and the gentle help in better understanding me was invaluable to regaining the ability to cope with life. Not only that, but understanding how I made changes that helped me thrive.
Experience and approach
I have been a coach for over 7 years and a therapist for 3, and I work with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, overwhelm, grief, and LGBTQIA+ challenges. I am a humanistic integrative counsellor, with a particular interest in attachment theory. I work hard to make our work as bespoke, and as tailored, to your needs as possible.
What would a session feel like with me?
The support and the safety provided in the counselling room for me allowed anything and everything to be discussed. Jumping in and starting where it felt natural, no fear of judgement or expectation in the sessions. This is the space I want to create and the feeling that I want my clients to experience in the room with me too.
I am nervous to start therapy.
What will I be asked? What if I don’t know what to say? Will I have to tell the therapist all my secrets? What if I don’t feel comfortable with them? These questions and more can all be discussed prior to the session in a free introductory call so that you can feel informed and comfortable in starting sessions, if you feel that we can work together.
Why work with me?
Experience: 7 years as a coach and 3 years as a therapist.
Passion: Beyond my private practice, I volunteer for two charities because I believe everyone, despite means, deserves a path to the person they were meant to be.
Bespoke Approach: I don't believe in "one size fits all." We work at your pace, starting wherever feels most natural to you.
I enjoy my work and find satisfaction in being with clients, supporting them to explore their issues and becoming the person that they were meant to be, the person that is inside them
My aim : Helping you move from "not coping" to thriving

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
