About me
Calm, supportive counselling for anxiety, overwhelm and feeling stuck
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck in patterns you can't seem to shift?
You might be holding everything together on the outside but inside it feels exhausting. Many people I work with feel this way - and it can be a relief to have a space where you don't have to manage it all alone.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk freely and begin to understand what's going on for you, at your own pace.
How I work
I'm a qualified counsellor offering a warm, non-judgemental approach. My work is grounded in helping you:
- make sense of your thoughts and feelings
- understand patterns that keep repeating
- feel more in control of you emotions
- develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself
We work together gently and at a pace that feels right for you.
What I can help with
I often support people with:
- anxiety and overthinking
- feeling stuck. or lost
- depression
- low self-esteem
- relationship difficulties
- stress and burnout
- difficult past experiences
You don't need to have a clear ‘problem’ - just a sense that something isn't quite right is enough.
My setting
I hold a practice in the centre of Bath in the Practice Rooms, Upper Borough Walls.
I can also offer sessions in a calm, private setting on the edge of Bath. The space is quiet and discreet, with easy parking, offering an alternative to busy or clinical environments.
Practical
I currently have limited daytime availability and some early evening slots.
If you're thinking about starting counselling, you're welcome to get in touch for an initial chat to see if it feels like the right fit.
You don't have to work things out on your own.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
