About me
We all have moments when life feels confusing, painful, or stuck; when we lose sight of who we are or what we need.
Welcome, I’m Lisa, a BACP registered integrative therapist and psychosynthesis counsellor.
I trained in psychosynthesis and start from the premise that everyone has an inner wisdom calling them to personal truth and congruence. I believe that therapy, by providing a safe space in which to experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling and being, can unlock the blocks to this healing drive and awaken its potential.
My role is to help you listen more deeply to yourself, where that inner voice becomes clearer, helping you create change that feels authentic and lasting.
You might be feeling anxious or overthinking everything, caught in cycles of self-criticism or doubt. Perhaps you’re navigating loss, grief, or a major life change - or you’ve lost touch with a sense of purpose. Many people I work with struggle with relationships, boundaries, or identity, asking questions like “Who am I?” or “What do I really want?”
Together, we can begin to make sense of these experiences and find a way forward that feels true to you.
I offer sessions both online and in person at my practice rooms in SE1 and SE10. Whether we meet virtually or face-to-face, I aim to create a space where you can explore whatever is on your mind, where you are met with care, curiosity and respect.
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision, and it’s natural to want a sense of connection before committing. I offer a free 15-minute online meeting so you can get a feel for how I work and share what brings you to therapy. If it feels like a good fit, we can take the next step together.
If you would like to arrange this, please get in touch.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling. Alongside my private practice I continue to volunteer as a therapist for a low-cost counselling service because I am committed to ensuring that therapy is available to as many people as possible. Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked in banking, and I was also a volunteer for South East London Mind for several years as a trustee.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I usually operate a sliding fee scale according to client circumstances, location (online/in person) and my availability. Fees are agreed together before the start of our work. It is important to me that my practice be as inclusive as possible, so I reserve a limited number of low-cost places for those experiencing financial hardship who would otherwise not have access to long-term therapy. If you feel this applies to you, please let me know.
