About me

Whether you’re looking to break down old patterns or simply want a space to understand yourself better, I offer a calm and creative environment for you to explore. You don’t need to have a specific "problem" to solve, and you don’t need to know how therapy works before we start. We can simply talk, build your confidence, and discover what’s on your mind together. I invite you to book an introductory call or initial session to see how it feels, with no pressure to commit until you’re ready.

About me... I am a Creative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Hypnotherapist with over 11 years of experience in the mental health field. My approach is warm, honest and creative. Having experienced the value of therapy myself, I appreciate what it takes to engage in this work. I provide a presence that is supportive and insightful. I currently offer sessions online and over the phone.

Individual Therapy

Our sessions are a collaborative partnership designed to help you gain confidence, feel more motivated, and navigate life with a greater sense of positivity and control. To facilitate this, I offer specialised tools such as the therapeutic use of the arts, breathwork, and guided meditations. These are entirely optional, and no prior experience is needed; I will gently guide you in using them to access insights that conversation alone might miss. This integrated approach allows for a more rounded, personalised experience that empowers you to move forward with clarity.

Supporting Children & Families

As a parent, seeing your child struggle with big emotions or school challenges can be overwhelming. I spent the last 5 years working directly in clinical collaboration and educational settings and use my background and knowledge throughout my practice. I provide a nurturing space where children can express themselves through play and creativity and where parents can gain a more in-depth understanding of their child's needs and developmental stage. I believe you are the expert on your child. My role is to offer a fresh perspective and practical, adaptable tools, bridging the gap between therapy and home life to help your family thrive.

What to do next:

  1. Send a requisition for an 20 minute (no obligation) introduction call (on this page). I will call you and we can talk through any queries or questions. In your own time, you can think about whether you want to book in a session.
  2. Send an email to connect@amberli.uk with your contact information (name, number & email) and availability (over the next two weeks) and I will get back to you with a session slot for us to meet in my office.
  3. Attend your first session and experience what therapy is like with me. With no obligation to commit, you can take your time to make a decision.

I believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience Counselling and feel they can make the right choice about the therapist they believe to be the best fit.
