About me

I am a BACP registered, integrative counsellor based in Bromley, Kent. We are all unique and so are our experiences and perceptions of life. I am here to support you through providing a friendly, confidential, warm and compassionate space within which we can talk about your challenges and goals, such as your desire to understand yourself better and your aspirations to embark on a journey of self-discovery. Through my counselling and three decades of experience in the educational sector, I have developed my ability to provide short and long-term counselling from an integrative framework, meaning I can draw upon different approaches of counselling and adapt them in a way to suit your needs. This enables me to help you understand your feelings, behaviour and relationships whilst equipping you with greater self-awareness. I regularly conduct research to understand new techniques and approaches in psychotherapy through participating in professional development to maintain and enhance my professional competency, which allows me to provide optimal service for my clients.

My work with adults and couples encompasses a wide range of issues including (but not limited to):

  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Stress
  • Trauma

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
