About me
In my experience, psychotherapy offers a unique type of one-to-one relationship. It broadly aims to explore, understand, and heal the emotional and psychological difficulties that life may have brought you.
I have eight years of experience in my practice, in which I endeavour to cultivate an open, curious and welcoming environment. I believe strongly that no two people are the same, and that the therapeutic process should reflect this by being creative and collaborative, naturally shifting and taking form over time.
I practice as an integrative psychotherapist: This means that I draw upon a broad spectrum of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic theories (e.g. Jungian/Kleinian) and relational and humanistic styles. Between them, these different approaches suggest that there is a time and place for both insight and understanding (which helps to frame things for ourselves), and a more visceral, immediate experience of simply being cared for and heard.
I have particular interest and experience in working with trauma, with a special interest in fantasy, dreams, myth and dissociation. I also value somatic approaches, which I believe are a vital means by which one can ground and find rest in one's embodied self, here-and-now.
I work from The Practice Rooms in Southville, Bristol.
While I normatively work in-person, I am able to offer sessions remotely, via video or voice call.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and adhere to the UKCP ethical framework.
I am fully qualified with eight years of experience as a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
