About me
I am a registered integrative therapist, which means I draw from a diverse range of therapeutic techniques including Person Centred Therapy, Gestalt, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to create a care plan that best suits your needs.
I have a passion for helping individuals navigate the challenges life may bring, especially after overcoming my own challenges and finding therapy very helpful and transformative for my personal growth.
While my approach is rooted in established evidence and theoretical knowledge, I believe that a strong therapist-client relationship is essential for effective change. I understand that not all methods will resonate with every individual, so my commitment is to ensure that your therapeutic journey aligns with what you truly need. My approach is straightforward but simultaneously warm and often injected with a touch of humour.
In our sessions, you'll have a safe space to discuss your challenges, experiences, and thoughts - things you might not feel comfortable sharing with others. I provide a private and confidential environment where we can explore how these things impact you. My main focus, however, is to empower you and help cultivate a sense of self-compassion along the way.
We can start with an initial meeting where I’ll help you reflect on your needs and determine if therapy is the right step for you. During our time together, I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s brought you to seek support and what you’re hoping to achieve. We’ll also discuss what your therapy sessions could look like, including your preferred approach and how we can tailor the process to fit your unique needs. This first meeting is a chance for you to gauge how you feel working with me and whether I’m the right fit for you. I strongly believe in the importance of having a therapist with whom you feel a sense of trust and comfort.
Training, qualifications & experience
Integrative Counselling
Integrative Psychotherapy
I’ve gained valuable experience through placement hours within the NHS, focusing on CBT, as well as working with The Awareness Centre's low-cost service in Clapham.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting women managing chronic pain conditions, including Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. My volunteer work also includes offering support to families coping with the grief of child loss through a charity, and I’m currently dedicating time to assist a charity focused on helping individuals recovering from domestic violence.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
