About me
If you are reading this then it is likely that you are struggling in some way. Feeling anxious, worried, and depressed can feel extremely frightening and lonely. You may be struggling to sleep or consumed with worries about your past or future. You may be struggling with self-esteem or have relationship difficulties. You may feel overwhelmed and desperate for someone to talk to. I understand that life can be challenging and taking that first step towards counselling can be quite daunting at first; you may not know where to begin or feel worried about opening up.
I can offer you a safe, accepting, and non-judgemental environment allowing you to explore your feelings and thoughts at your own pace. A caring relationship where you will feel valued and understood. Together we can work through your experiences and create a place where you can recover, grow and flourish; gain independence and feel empowered.
I am a person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist with a 1st class honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I truly believe that every client has within themselves vast resources for development and the capacity to grow into the person they are meant to be, its just that they may have got lost due to their experiences; maybe difficult relationships, trauma or illness. I have witnessed the incredible effects that clients have experienced in therapy, finding the resources to make positive changes and enjoy life again. I look at well-being as a whole; mind and body as one and can help you if you’re struggling with your weight, addictive behaviours or self-sabotage. My priority is to build a trusting relationship with confidentiality, warmth, and empathy. I have helped clients from all backgrounds with a variety of issues such as body dysmorphia, eating disorders, acute anxiety and panic attacks, depression, bereavement and alcohol abuse; both privately and within a women’s organisation, witnessing them modify their behaviours and transform their lives.
I am currently offering walk and talk therapy and zoom/telephone sessions. I offer all clients a free half hour phone call or zoom to answer any questions, have an informal chat and an opportunity to decide if this is something for you. Please email, text, or call me to arrange a suitable time.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
