About me
You look successful on paper, but you feel exhausted in practice. To the outside world, you are high-functioning and capable. But internally, you are driving yourself with a harsh, critical pressure that never lets up. You might feel that no matter how much you achieve, it is never quite enough to make you feel safe or settled.
Our work will go beyond simply managing symptoms. We'll explore the unconscious roots and early context of your distress, including how past experiences, like trauma or unresolved family issues, are shaping your life today. I also offer support for those navigating painful relationship patterns and persistent feelings linked to depression.
My aim is to create a secure, confidential space where you can gain deeper self-insight. This leads to sustainable change, allowing you to move toward a more authentic, peaceful sense of self.
I understand taking the first step is difficult. I invite you to arrange a free, 15 minute, introductory call to explore how we can work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP Registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist (MBACP) holding an MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling from Birkbeck, University of London.
My clinical expertise is significantly complemented by over ten years of professional experience in demanding corporate sectors, including financial services, law, and executive recruitment. This background allows me to bring a unique, practical understanding to issues related to professional stress, ambition, and work-life balance.
My practice has provided me with extensive experience working with a diverse range of adult issues, including persistent anxiety, low self-esteem, attachment and relationship difficulties, life transitions, and grief.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I believe the strength of our therapeutic relationship is the foundation for lasting change. The psychodynamic process helps you connect the 'why' of your struggles (your history) to the 'how' of your life today. If you're tired of running into the same obstacles, this approach offers the depth required to break those persistent patterns and achieve a greater sense of emotional freedom.
