About me
I hold a safe space for my clients and support the process of exploration that is necessary for finding ways towards deeper self-knowledge. Often, people seek therapy when there is a sense of fragmentation or falling apart. Finding ways to relate to different parts within oneself can be necessary in order to feel integration within and connection to others. I support my clients in their search for meaning, and often see how unravelling the knots in relationships, tending grief, and exploring suffering can lead to a sense of purpose. I often witness how this process can be initiated through nurturing connections with embodied parts of lived experiences, learning and using somatic tools, and I integrate this in the therapeutic process. An important piece in the therapeutic journey is attuning to the messages from within, and I support the process of remembering how to listen. My clients are offered a space to learn and build emotional resilience, ultimately leading to a deeper self-acceptance, self-realisation, and self-love. My work is trauma-informed.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have trained at the Philadelphia Association in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and Phenomenology. Prior to my training, I completed a BA degree in the Study of Religions at SOAS in 2010 and an MA degree in Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck in 2012.
I have engaged with therapeutic communities set up by the Philadelphia Association, where I worked from April 2022 until February 2023.
For 4 years, I facilitated experiential groups at Philadelphia Association, and have taught seminars on the Introduction Course, and on the Online Introduction to Community, Philosophy, and Psychotherapy course.
I have worked with vulnerable groups as a family support worker for over 6 years. I have been involved with women’s groups and grassroots movements for over 10 years, and support spaces where women can have an opportunity to be mutually supportive throughout diverse journeys and in various stages of their lives.
I see clients through the clinic at the Philadelphia Association, as well as in my private practice.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
