About me

Does it feel like everything is getting on top of you, and you feel stuck? Does life feel overwhelming and you're finding it hard to cope? Spiralling thoughts, overthinking and constantly worrying can lead to feeling stressed, anxious and exhausted.

There is a way through this, and you don't have to do it alone.

Using evidence-based techniques I can help you work through what is happening, break free from negative thought patterns and start to see things from a different angle. You can learn how to process emotions and respond to situations in ways which will leave you feeling more in control, calmer and at ease.

Picture yourself regaining control of your thoughts, managing your emotions, and strengthening your capacity to cope with everyday difficult challenges.

I am a CBT and Integrative Counsellor based in Colchester (CO1) offering therapy in-person and online. I can help you explore and process what is happening, learn to manage your emotions and find realistic coping techniques that work for you - making everyday life feel easier.

As a Menopause Wellbeing Practitioner I also offer CBT-informed menopause support to women experiencing the psychological and emotional impact of menopausal symptoms.

It might feel scary to take that first step, but reaching out is a sign of strength. For many of my clients therapy helps them feel more in control and supported, with many seeing improvements within the first month. Book a free informal 15 minute call by phone or email, to see if I'm the right person for you. I look forward to us having a chat.

In-person and online sessions available, no waiting lists.

What to expect from your first session:

My aim is for you to feel comfortable, so I work in a natural and down-to-earth way. I will explain more about how I work, and will answer any questions you may have.

I will gather some background information to help me understand what you are struggling with a little better, and how your problems are impacting your life.

We will talk about what you would like to get from therapy - if you're not sure right now, that's absolutely fine. We will work at a pace that suits you, so if we don't cover what we set out to do in our first session, that's fine too.

Take the first step:

Please email, phone, WhatsApp or text to book your free 15 minute introductory call. There is no pressure, and zero obligation to proceed with therapy.
