About me
Welcome,
I wonder…”Do you want to feel better, happier, more confident?”
Are you feeling sad, depressed, anxious or are you grieving ? Are you trying to come to terms with illness, marriage break up or aftermath of an affair? ? Is your relationship suffering because you are feeling isolated and ignored or is your communication not met with an understanding?
Life can get complicated and frustrating feelings can be making you miserable. Time for positive change has arrived. Are you wondering where to go next? Are you struggling with deep emotions, loss, sense of unease or finding yourself in situations where you are questioning everything you do? Stricken with sadness, grief and lost?
Losing a sense of identity and personal integrity, struggling to find your peace and experiencing inability to make decisions can be frightening. But there is plenty of research confirming that therapeutic counselling is a great strategy to apply if you are struggling with your emotions or if you are feeling stuck. Therapeutic space that is kind, compassionate and understanding is essential for letting go of things that do not serve you.
Welcome to the safe place where you can start taking back the control of your life.
Making sense of your situation can be the first change you will make during counselling . Therapy does allow for that.
I am a therapeutic counsellor experienced in dealing with many life issues, infidelity, divorce, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, trauma and low self esteem.
I understand that recognising that you are not happy or that you are not thriving in life can be a scary thought. But you do not have to stay unhappy and stuck.
You can not change your past but you can process what has happened to you, it will help you to come to terms with it. When you process what has happened to you, then you can start letting go of that pain and only then you can move forward and make sense of what happened and finally letting go of the feelings attached to that.
My name is Klara and I am an experienced therapeutic counsellor, educated to an University Level ( I have a degree in Psychology of Science with Honours).
I have extended knowledge about how trauma, mental health issues, ADHD, anxiety and depression, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), illnesses , death of your loved one or marital/ partner break up can negatively impact your inner peace and leave you bereft and unable to cope.
At times, stressful experiences can affect our brain and our human capacity to cope and with that our resilience can be depleted, causing inner distress. This not only causes suffering but can also leave you feeling helpless and unable to cope. Living with this level of stress can, of course have extremely negative impact on the functioning and behaviours in everyday life.
I will support you and together we will work on strategies to help you become once again mentally strong.
I am a fully qualified therapeutic counsellor ( registered with BACP) and I follow their code of conduct.I also offer highly successful and NHS (NICE) recommended CBT treatment to help you "rewire the way you are thinking".
I have experience working with people from many cultural and religious communities and I thrive to have inclusive and trauma informed practice.
So, if you are a person who experienced bereavement, anxiety, health issues and stress, loss, cancer, significant life changes or suffer with depression, I am here, ready to help you.
If you are a woman with menopausal symptoms or a man who is experiencing stress, burnout and anxiety, then I am the right person for you! You do not have to do this struggle alone, I will be here with you.
You will be supported fully and you will be listened to and you will also be challenged, so you can reflect on the cognitive bias that you may be holding on to and that are creating a barrier in you living your own, positive life and may be stopping you from finding your joy.
You will be provided with support via online or face-to-face in a lovely peaceful environment in south of Liverpool. If nature is important to your healing, we can go for a walk around Calderstones or Sefton park.
If you are a man who is feeling “broken and unhappy" and you simply want to be able to hold your head higher with confidence, if you want to smile wider and let your inner life satisfaction to be discovered and grow, then I maybe the person to help you. Changing the way you think is a possible task.. It is easier than people think. It may not be a quick fix, it may take a few weeks or months but once that skill is learned, it can change your life for the best.
Most of my clients reported that they felt a significant positive change in their mental well-being after they finished their sessions.
I do not promise miracles however I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution focused therapy and person centred counselling and REWIND therapy that can be very efficient to help in safe place for you to make positive changes in your life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
