About me
Tired of feeling stuck, not quite right, wondering why life has to be this hard?
I mainly work with men who get on with it, carry responsibility, keep things moving and are the person others turn to, while privately feeling drained, irritable, stuck or not quite themselves. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.
Before becoming a therapist I worked in engineering, so I understand that mindset of pushing through, fixing problems and staying practical even when something doesn’t feel right. A lot of the guys I work with are solid in a crisis but worn out by the day to day. They know something needs to change, they’re just not sure where to start.
I support men across the UK with stress, anxiety, burnout, low mood and big life changes. My approach isn’t about jargon, labels or quick fixes. It’s about having real conversations that help you slow things down, make sense of what’s going on underneath and start to see the patterns that keep you stuck.
Most of the time there’s more going on than just what’s happening right now. Old pressures, expectations, ways of coping that have been there a long time. We take a look at that together so you can understand yourself better and start making choices rather than just reacting on autopilot.
I know what it’s like to feel lost while still looking like you’ve got it together. That shapes how I work. I’m straightforward, grounded and easy to talk to, with a bit of humour where it fits. You won’t be analysed or judged. You’ll have space to think, speak openly and not feel like you have to perform.
While I focus on working with men, I also welcome women and LGBTQ+ clients who connect with how I work.
I’m a registered member of the BACP and work in a way that’s safe and ethical. Outside of work you’ll usually find me out with the dogs, which is my way of slowing things down and keeping some balance.
If you’re at the point where you’re tired of carrying it all on your own and want to start making sense of things, you can send me a message and we’ll take it from there.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
