About me

Hi, I’m Kieran welcome. I believe real change happens when we feel truly heard and understood.

You are the expert on you. Within yourself, you already have the means to change, if that’s what you want. My place is simply to help shine a light, guiding you toward what’s already within reach.

I know what it’s like to search for peace, to long for someone who really listens, without judgment. My journey into counselling wasn’t just academic, it was personal. I’ve been where you might be now, looking for support, clarity, and a fresh perspective. I’ve felt that lost feeling, knowing something needs to change but not knowing where to begin.

That experience shaped how I work: warm, supportive, no jargon, just real conversations that help you move forward. With accredited qualifications in counselling and membership in the British Association of Counselling Practice, I ensure the support I offer is ethical, safe, and effective.

I come from a background in engineering and that taught me to think outside the box and approach challenges with curiosity and problem-solving, a mindset I bring to therapy every day, helping you uncover the best way forward.

I value authenticity and connection. You’ll always get my honest, authentic self in our sessions, along with a sprinkling of humour and a lot of heart. When I’m not working with clients, I’m often out hiking in the great outdoors or spending time with my loyal dogs, which reminds me of the importance of finding balance and joy in life.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to meeting you and creating a space where you feel truly heard and understood. Together we can find a way for you to move forward with confidence.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
