Integrative Psychotherapist | MSc, BSc (Hons), MBACP

About me

Taking that first step into therapy is a massive act of courage, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy or grey. If you’ve spent your life following someone else’s script, meeting everyone’s expectations but your own, you might feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like a stranger to yourself.

As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I don’t do 'one-size-fits-all'. I bring a warm, bubbly, and authentic energy to our sessions because I believe the most profound work happens when you feel safe enough to truly be yourself. My approach blends the heart of relational warmth with the practical tools of CBT and the deep, light-shining insight of Psychodynamic work. We won't just 'vent'; we’ll work together to understand the roots of your experiences while finding the here-and-now tools to help you breathe easier.

Training, qualifications & experience

My Background & Experience

I am a BACP Registered Member (MBACP) with an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and a BSc in Psychology. My practice is grounded in psychological science, but my heart is in the human connection. My time working with diverse clients at St Martin’s taught me that while 'theories' are great, it’s our trusting, vibrant relationship that creates real change.

I have particular expertise in:

Trauma & PTSD: Moving you from 'survival mode' into a life where you feel in control again.

Neurodiversity & Chronic Health: I’m a huge advocate for those navigating a world not built for their unique nervous systems. Whether you are Neurodivergent (ADHD/Autism) or living with chronic illness like MS, I offer a space that honors your energy and your lived experience.

Identity & Self-Discovery: Helping you move from an 'external frame of reference' living for others to finding your own authentic voice and culture.

Anxiety & OCD: Developing practical, strategies to quiet the noise and reclaim your peace.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for an initial chat. It’s an informal way for us to see if we are a good fit and to begin your journey toward feeling more like yourself again.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information

FREE 15 MINUTE INITIAL CONSULTATION

I offer a free no obligation 15 minute phone introduction/consultation. This is a relaxed call for us to briefly discuss what brings you to therapy. It is an opportunity for you to also ask any questions you may have about the process or how I work. This is to help you decide if you feel I am the right person to support you, without any pressure to commit.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OUR FIRST FULL SESSION

If you decide to move forward, our first full session is about building a foundation. During this time, I will briefly go over the practical details of our working agreement, discuss what has brought you to therapy and what you would like to achieve. My goal for the first session is to make sure you leave feeling heard, respected, and have clear idea of how we will work together on the path ahead.

**I also offer limited concessionary rates of £55 for students, or those with low income**
