About me
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I am a psychotherapist, researcher, and educator dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and groups in gaining deeper insight into their emotions, relationships, and life experiences. My work is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a profound understanding of human psychology.
I believe the transformative power of psychotherapy is not limited to those facing significant psychological challenges. Everyone can benefit from professional support — gaining tools to navigate life’s complexities with greater resilience, compassion, and clarity. My aim is to help you foster a kinder, more adaptive relationship with yourself, which naturally enhances your connection with others.
My therapeutic approach supports emotional, cognitive, behavioural, and relational growth. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of thinking, behaving, and relating — both to themselves and those around them.
By working to overcome limiting emotions, beliefs and behaviours, clients are empowered to achieve lasting change and move towards a more meaningful and fulfilling future.
Originally from Glasgow and now based in London, I hold a PhD in Counselling & Psychotherapy, with specialisms in Person-Centred, Emotion-Focused, and Humanistic-Experiential approaches. Alongside my work as a Psychotherapist, I am also a Researcher, Educator, Healing Coach, and Master Firewalk Instructor — bringing a rich, integrative skill set to my practice.
My research focuses on the self-relationship, negative self-treatment, and social anxiety — all areas I continue to explore and develop in both academic and clinical contexts.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.
In addition to my therapeutic practice, I supervise fellow psychotherapists and work as a Senior Lecturer. I design and deliver programmes including the BSc in Therapeutic Psychology & Counselling, BSc in Psychology (Clinical & Mental Health), and MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy, as well as supervising MA research in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Outside of clinical work, I design and facilitate bespoke transformational workshops, training programmes, and retreats — offering powerful, experiential tools to help individuals heal from past wounds, deepen present-moment awareness, and energise their future aspirations.
I would be honoured to support you on your journey — whether for personal exploration, healing, or professional development. If you’re ready to take the next step or simply want to find out more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Rest assured, you’ll be in safe hands!
Why let challenges define you when you have the opportunity to unlock your full potential with the right therapeutic support and training?

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
